These terms set out the conditions for using the RegioLines.help website. By accessing the site, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
This document covers how our route pages, comparisons and guides are published, what you can expect from the information here, and how to reach us if something is unclear. It is written for everyone using the site to plan a journey across Czechia and nearby countries.
Plain rules for a site built around other people's timetables
RegioLines.help gathers schedule information for regional bus, rail and combined journeys so you can compare options in one place. Everything below explains what that means in practice: what we publish, where the limits of that information are, and what stays your decision as a traveller. Who we are
An independent information and community website
RegioLines.help is an independent information and community website covering regional bus, rail and combined travel in Czechia and nearby countries. Our address is Na Florenci 2116, 110 00 Nové Město, Czechia, and our contact email is info@regiolines.help.
We are a small editorial team working from Prague, and the site grew out of questions people kept asking each other about getting between regional towns without a car. Over time those questions turned into route guides, comparison pages and a shared habit of checking details against operator announcements. We are not affiliated with any carrier, and no transport company has editorial control over what we publish.

What this site is, and what it is not
The site publishes planning information, route comparisons and guides. It is not a transport operator, a travel agency or a ticket seller. We do not conclude contracts for carriage, hold reservations or process payments for travel services.
What we do
Publish and compare
We collect schedule and route details from operator timetables and public listings, then lay them out so a train leg, a coach leg or a mixed trip can be read side by side. The aim is to make a connection readable before you commit to it.
What we do not do
Sell or reserve
There is no checkout on this site, no seat held in your name and no payment collected on behalf of a carrier. A route page is a reading aid; the actual booking happens on the operator's own website, at a ticket window, or on board, according to their rules.
Who decides
The operator carries you
Conditions of carriage, luggage rules, refunds, delay compensation and accessibility arrangements all come from the operator whose service you use. Those terms apply between you and them, not between you and us.
Accuracy of information
We aim to keep route information accurate and current, and we verify details against operator timetables and public route listings. Timetables change, and information on this site may not reflect the latest version. The operator's own timetable is the version that governs your journey. Always confirm departure times, stations and conditions before you travel.
In practice this means a page describing the Prague to Brno corridor can be right on the day it is written and out of date a week later, when a carrier shifts a departure by ten minutes or moves a stop to a different bay. We date the pages we review and we revisit the busiest corridors first, because those are the ones people plan around. On quieter regional links, the gap between our last check and your travel date can be wider, so treat older details as a starting point rather than a promise.
Before you travel, confirm
- Departure time on the operator's own timetable for your date.
- The exact station or stop, including which side of a terminal it leaves from.
- Whether a reservation is required or simply recommended.
- Any seasonal or public-holiday variation on the route you are taking.
No booking or payment services
Any booking or payment for travel must be made directly with the relevant operator. We do not provide booking functionality, and we accept no payment for transport services. Do not send payment details through this site.
If a message, call or email asks you for card details, bank transfers or a deposit in connection with this website, treat it as unrelated to us and do not act on it. The only address we write from is info@regiolines.help, and the only phone number we publish is +420774889959.

Acceptable use
How you may use the site
You agree to use the site lawfully and not to attempt to disrupt it, gain unauthorised access to it, or use automated tools to extract content at a scale that affects other users. You may use the information for personal trip planning and for reasonable non-commercial reference.

Reading route pages, saving links, sharing a guide with someone travelling the same way, or quoting a short passage in a message with a link back.

Not welcome
Scraping the pages at volume, hammering the server with automated requests, probing for vulnerabilities, or republishing the guides as your own product.
If you run a small community project, a club noticeboard or a student association and want to point people to a route guide, that is fine. If you want to reproduce a large part of the site somewhere else, write to us first so we can talk about what is reasonable.
Intellectual property
The text and structure of this site are protected by applicable law. You may quote short extracts with clear attribution and a link to the source page. Republishing substantial portions of the content without permission is not allowed.
Timetable data itself belongs to the carriers and the transport authorities that publish it. What we add is the arrangement: the order of the comparisons, the wording of the guides, the way a transfer is explained, and the page structure you are reading now. That editorial layer is what the protection covers.
Using our material
Short quotation
A sentence or two in a blog post, newsletter or forum answer, credited to RegioLines.help with a working link to the page you used.
Linking
Pointing readers to a guide from a travel forum, student page or community site needs no permission at all.
Wholesale copying
Reproducing whole guides, or rebuilding them as a competing resource, needs written permission from us first.
Third-party content and links
The site may link to operator websites and other external resources. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, availability or terms. Following an external link is at your own risk.
Links exist so you can move from a description to the source. A carrier's site is where you find live departures, seating rules and the purchase flow; a station operator's site is where you find opening times and facilities. Those pages are run by their own teams under their own conditions, and they may change without notice. If a link on our site leads somewhere unhelpful, tell us and we will review it during the next pass over that page.
Limitation of liability
The site is provided on an "as is" basis for information purposes. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses arising from reliance on information on the site, including missed departures, travel disruption or costs incurred as a result. Travel decisions remain your responsibility.
What this means when you are standing on a platform: if a bus left ten minutes earlier than a page suggested, or a platform changed at short notice, the carrier's live information and your own check are what keep the trip on track. We can describe a corridor carefully, but we cannot stand at the departure bay with you, and we do not accept claims for a fare, a hotel night or a rearranged connection.
Practical habits
- Re-check a departure on the operator's timetable on the day you travel, not a week before.
- Allow a comfortable gap when you connect between a train and a coach, especially in winter.
- Keep the carrier's own confirmation, ticket or app open when you move between legs.
- If something goes wrong on the journey, raise it with the operator first, since they hold the contract of carriage.
Availability
When the site is not reachable
We aim to keep the site available, but we do not promise uninterrupted access. The site may be unavailable during maintenance or due to circumstances outside our control.
Planned work happens outside the hours most people plan trips, and we keep a copy of the key corridor information in a form we can restore quickly if something breaks. Even so, a host outage, a network problem or a burst of automated traffic can make the pages unreachable for a period. If that happens shortly before you travel, fall back to the operator's own timetable or a ticket desk, which do not depend on this site being up.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page is the current one and applies from the moment it is posted. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the updated terms.
Most changes are small clarifications, for example separating the rules on quoting our text from the rules on linking to it. When a change is more substantial, we note the new publication date at the top of this page so you can see at a glance whether you read the current wording. If you keep using the site after that date, the updated version governs your visit.

Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic. Any dispute relating to the site is subject to the jurisdiction of the competent Czech courts.
The site is published from Czechia and written primarily for people travelling in the region. If you read it from somewhere else, you are responsible for following the rules that apply where you are, and the conditions of carriage for any journey stay with the carrier you travel with.
