RegioLines.help · data handling
Privacy Policy
This policy explains how RegioLines.help handles personal data collected through this website. It covers what we collect, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and how you can contact us about it. It applies to everyone who reads route notes on the Prague–Brno corridor and nearby countries, asks us a question, or writes to us about a correction.
The page is written as a plain legal notice. Nothing here changes how you can use the site, and nothing here is hidden behind a login or a form.

Who is responsible for your data
RegioLines.help, Na Florenci 2116, 110 00 Nové Město, Czechia, is responsible for the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us at info@regiolines.help or on +420774889959 for any question about data handling. Office hours for calls and replies are Monday to Friday, 09:00–18:00.
We are a small team, so a single address handles every request: corrections to a route note, questions about a booking, and privacy requests all reach the same inbox. If your message is about a connection such as Praha–Brno, or a Brno–Praha autobus departure, mention the route and date so we can find the earlier exchange without asking twice.
What we collect
When you use the contact form, we collect the name, email address and message content you provide. Our server also records standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request, which is generated automatically when any website is accessed.
We do not ask for payment card numbers, ID documents or travel documents on this website. Requests about Praha–Brno timetables, Brno–Praha autobus departures, or any other listed connection can be made without giving more data than the form asks for.
Why we collect it
We use contact form data to answer your question and to improve the relevant pages. Technical information is used to operate the site, keep it secure and understand which pages are being used. We do not use your data for unrelated marketing.
- Answering your message A reply, a route note update, or a pointer to the page that actually answers it.
- Keeping route notes accurate If several readers flag the same detail, we check and correct the page.
- Running the site Server logs show whether pages load and whether something is being abused.
- Security Technical records help us spot broken requests and block obvious misuse.
- Seeing which pages are used Aggregate page counts tell us which guides are worth expanding next.
Legal basis
We process contact form data on the basis of your request and our legitimate interest in responding to it and maintaining accurate route information. Technical data is processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating and securing the website.
Contact form
Your request
You send the message, so we have a reason to read it and reply. We also rely on our legitimate interest in keeping route pages correct.
Server records
Legitimate interest
Operating and protecting a public website produces technical records. We keep them limited and do not use them to profile readers.
How long we keep it
Contact messages are kept for as long as needed to answer your question and to verify any correction, and are removed when they are no longer needed for that purpose. Server logs are kept for a limited period and then deleted or anonymised.
Contact messages
Kept while useful
A message stays on file while a reply is pending, while a correction it triggered is being checked, and long enough afterwards to confirm what we changed and why. Once none of that applies, it is removed.
Server logs
Short and limited
Logs exist for a limited period to keep the site running and secure, then they are deleted or anonymised so they no longer identify a visitor. Short retention also means a request about an old session may sometimes be answered with less detail.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We may use service providers such as hosting companies that process data on our behalf, and we may disclose data where the law requires it. Service providers are only given the access needed to perform their function.
We do not pass your email to advertisers or to transport operators. If you write to us about a Praha–Brno connection, we do not forward your message to a carrier, and we do not sign you up to anything.
Your rights
You have the right to request access to your personal data, correction of inaccurate data, deletion, restriction of processing, and objection to processing. You also have the right to receive data you provided in a structured, commonly used format where applicable.
Rights are exercised by writing to us; there is no self-service switch that turns them on. Say which right you mean and which message or session it concerns.
A request is easier to answer when it names the right and the message it concerns. If you are unsure which right applies, describe the problem in plain words and we will point you to the correct one.
Cookies
This site uses cookies as described in the cookie policy. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect how parts of the site work.
Cookies are used for the site to behave as expected, not to build an advertising profile. If you clear them, you may see the same notice again and some preferences may reset. The full list of what each cookie does sits in the cookie policy, and a consent tool is available on the site outside this page.
Open the Cookie PolicyChanges to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in how the site operates or in legal requirements. The current version is always the one published on this page. Material changes will be reflected in the text rather than announced separately.
Read the text as it stands at the time of your visit rather than a copy saved elsewhere. If a change affects how a request you already sent is handled, our reply will say so.
How to contact us
To exercise any of the rights described above, write to info@regiolines.help with enough detail for us to identify your request. We will respond within the period required by applicable data protection law.
Useful details to include: the email address you wrote from, roughly when you wrote, and what you want us to do. Do not send ID documents or travel documents by email — we do not need them to answer a privacy request.
